What is a martingale collar?

 

A martingale is a type of dog collar that can help with gentle training without the choking effect of a slip collar.


They are very useful for use on Sighthounds (Greyhound Lurcher, Salukis, Whippets, Podencos etc.) due to these breeds having similar head/neck sizes, therefore standard collars can slip off or they can back out of them. However these collars can be used on most other breeds too.


I make martingale dog collars collars in 1",  1.5" and 2" Wide


Collars fit the following neck sizes (but please bear in mind that the collar needs to slip over the head) 

12"-15"

14"-20"

17.5"-26"


If you need a different size, then please message me before purchase, as I am happy to make a size suitable.


I also make quick release buckle dog collars


Collars are washable.

   

Collars are made with Marine Grade Stainless Steel D Rings for extra strength and they will not rust.
